In a forest near Gardermoen Airport in Norway is a 30M high tower topped by a giant illuminated Kepler Star. The installation is by the Norwegian artist Vebjorn Sand. I’ve seen it several times when driving from the airport but decided a few weeks ago to locate the site and do some test shots. What interested me most was the surreal lighting effect on the surrounding trees. This could easily be reproduced with an Arri lighting truck, a cherry picker & about 20,000 watts. We’ve just got to find a campaign to fit the concept now..
