Walero Racewear came to us with a challenge.
How to broaden the brands offering from fire retardent racewear for motor sport into high end technical clothing for fitness and lifestyle.
The new collection uses the same NASA developed fabrics but in designs suited to an active athletic lifestyle.
The assets also needed to demonstrate the broad age range of the target audience with “real people”. Not for budget reasons but because it created a more authentic story.
Generative AI was absolutely not the answer here..
In the summer of 2024 we got to work shooting a carefully planned halo launch film across numerous locations in North Yorkshire.
As director I was keen to use the brilliant gimbal stabilised Ronin 4D camera system (see TV show Adolescence)
This camera gives ultra smooth footage on kinetic scenes over any terrain.
Real athletes, real settings, real lifestyle benefits to the customer.
It’s been a slow gestation to market ( this is what happens when everyone, quite rightly seeks product perfection ) but the wait has been worth it.
Working with my team at Darkslide Productions it all ran seemlessly.
