As many of you know, I act as a brand ambassador for Leica Camera. Thanks to the talented Susana Sanromen for taking this shot yesterday at the Photo Show, NEC where I was presenting a talk on aerial photography.

At the end of last year we were commissioned to shoot a global advertising campaign for The View From The Shard through Futureproof London. A complex shoot involving composite layers with a requirement for me to shoot the urban landscapes on different occasions to the models.

Highlights of 2014. The blog has been sadly neglected recently as we have been overseas again but its a good time to look back on a stunning 2014 by choosing my favourite 10 images from the year.

The team have recently returned from a highly successful shoot in hot and humid Manila . Fighting with monsoon conditions, chaotic driving conditions and a large audience at the location we shot a new Far East campaign for Shell Advance.
So Tuesday was spent shooting at Porsche with over £200,000 of kit – mainly consisting of no less than 4 drones, a Red Epic and assorted other Hi Res cameras. Here is the first image through plus some fun behind the scenes imagery.
I’m delighted to now reveal the first of our Yas Marina F1 shots taken on an incredibly hot June morning at the Abu Dhabi circuit. We are currently working on a series of these so more will follow on the blog very soon.
In May we were flown to Cape Town to photograph Inmarsat’s global connectivity service, IsatHub.The team travelled over 2000 km in 5 days with dawn and dusk shoots to make the most of the stunning light.
We spent Tuesday morning shooting backplates at the Yas Marina motor racing circuit in Abu Dhabi. Look out for some exciting CGI renders of F1 cars in action in the coming weeks.

Was honoured to be one of only 2 UK photographers to exhibit this week at the Royal Geographical Society with my winning images from the HIPA international competition. It features one of my images of the Breitling Jet Team over the Matterhorn mountain range in Switzerland.
In addition to the rather spectacular landscapes we were tasked to shoot in Azerbaijan a couple of weeks ago we also shot a series of summer action sports for the agency. Here’s kids quad bikes.

In the 1930’s New York built skyscrapers to demonstrate its corporate power, in the 1990’s it was the turn of the Pudong area of Shanghai to lead the way in dramatic architecture. For the past ten years it has been the turn of Dubai, UAE.
Just back from a great shoot for IFA Hotels in Dubai. A series of portraits in my particular style, there is a real satisfaction in squeezing something powerful out of the most unlikely of locations.

Was delighted to have two entries nominated for the final of the 6th Annual Masters Competition last night . This is my third successive year of recognition in this worldwide competition that attracts thousands of entries each year.

Quick rush from last nights overnight shoot at Heathrow Airport underground subway station. Probably the first and last time I will position my camera directly over an electrified rail.
The final version of my O2 Arena shot for AEG and Bblur Architects. It’s actually possible to enjoy the view now - at the time I was too busy hanging out of the chopper to fully appreciate what a stunning eve it was.
