After a years gestation it’s great to now be able to share imagery from this campaign shot for Mashreq Bank in the UAE through Sweetwater MEA agency. Shot in the brutal summer heat of the Arabian mountains with a large crew and talent.
The refurbishment of this aviation icon was completed just before Covid. I have been desperate to shoot a project on this building ever since.

The Jebel Jais access road was completed just 3 years ago and its popularity with the hypercar jocks from Dubai has made it a must do for crazies, more sensible owners and auto magazines alike.
2 weeks after revealing the kinetic tracking shots of the LDC1 concept its great to be able to share these product shots . The location is the amazing P&J Live arena in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Great shoot in York this week capturing the very first Porsche Centre to introduce a new interior design for Porsche retail sites globally. It looks great and once again keeps Porsche AG well ahead of the competition.

Inmarsat’s marketing agency approached me late last year to explore shooting a range of stills and video assets for a global campaign, to support their Enterprise division. Having undertaken a similar campaign shoot for them in South Africa a few years ago it was obvious that we would again need a remote overseas location.

This was a fascinating commission from last year : The RAF High G Centrifuge training facility at RAF Cranwell. The £44m project is used by fast jet pilots in the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force to replicate flight in aircraft such as the Hawk, Typhoon and new F-35 Lightning aircraft.
Such a great hard working crew on this production. Safety team, video crew, Rapha tracking/ support car, drone pilot and pro riders who were just the best.
The Inmarsat GX5 satellite launches onboard an Ariane 5 rocket tomorrow. I took these photographs of the satellite at a delicate stage of production back in April.
Shot earlier this year in the dunes at Holy Island, Northumbria and at La Corbiere lighthouse and causeway, Jersey, Channel Islands. 3 visits were required to the dune location over several weeks to get the quality of light we wanted, but it was worth the effort.

We have just completed a great campaign film and a series of stills shots for Leia Camera in Germany. The film will run on social media channels and in store until 2019.
Ok, so I will admit I had to curb my enthusiasm when this commission came in from longstanding client CTM Design. This is what your holiday Boeing 737 looks like straight out of the factory before its paint livery, seating and interior are fitted.
A lovely commission for Havas Worldwide a few weeks ago. The brief was to capture the essence of their astounding new building in Kings Cross, a selection of architectural interiors inter dispersed with some candid images of the teams at work.
I’m delighted to report our new short for Leica, “A masterpiece in the making” has gone viral with over 250,000 views in the first week. We are now at nearly half a million views in total.
We had great fun shooting this Porsche Panamera cut away car late last year. The location is Loch Lochy in the Scottish Highlands.
I recently had the privilege of shooting a new marketing campaign for the most astounding British tech company : Cambridge Medical Robotics. I remember at my first pre production meeting in January been blown away by the engineering complexity and beauty of movement of these surgical robots.
I have recently returned from a two week grand tour of the Scottish Highlands for Barclays Bank. Shooting an in branch campaign showcasing the very best of Scottish life, covering everything from dramatic highland landscapes to trout fisherman on the River Dee.
The maddest location I was commissioned to shoot this year? Unquestionably the Salina Turda Salt Mine in the Durga-Valea Sarata area of Romania. This ex salt mine is now randomly a leisure park including underground lake with rowing boats, bowling alley and concert hall.
I’ve been fortunate to spend a large chunk of this summer shooting for Porsche UK. Whilst much of my work is for premium brands in the automotive and aerospace sectors its still a privilege to work with such a superb automotive manufacturer.

Ferrari is 70 this year and we were commissioned to produce all visual collateral for the 70th Parade of no less than 108 Ferraris from the classic to the very newest. Police motorcycle and traffic car escort, 108 Ferraris, 10 Safety cars, 3 photographers, 1 video camera crew and 1 drone pilot over a 100 mile course.
New work : Range Rover Autobiography. Always challenging when the client presents you with a black car and a high key brief but very happy with the result.

Great to catch up with my friends at Leica Wetzlar last week for the launch of the stunning Leica M10 . The Leica Rangefinders are not a camera system that I use ( I work with the S snd SL Series ) but the M series has defined much of the iconic reportage photography of the 20th and 21st centuries so the launch of the new model is a big deal.
